TIEMS-India Chapter

The International Emergency Management Society – India Chapter (TIEMS-IC) is an autonomous, not-for-profit, activist society of people interested in emergency and disaster management. The vision of TIEMS–IC is to make India disaster resilient using crisis participatory governance. TIEMS-IC was registered in April 2015 under Rajasthan Public Trust Act, 1959.

TIEMS-IC is affiliated with TIEMS based out of Brussels, Belgium. TIEMS is dedicated to developing and bringing the benefits of modern emergency and disaster management tools, techniques and good industry practices to society for a safer world. TIEMS conducts research and crisis participatory governance concept was coined in a European Commission co-funded research. TIEMS is a not-for-profit established in 1993 registered in Brussels. TIEMS has 16 Chapters in different countries and regions. TIEMS organizes annual conferences in different countries and publishes Newsletters, which go to about 100,000 people around the world.
